Nevertheless, before I continue I would like to tell you a few details that revolve around this picture, since I considered this picture to be a true icon of the home of Sensei Akamine. And, when I go back in time I remember when I first visited Sensei Akamine’s house (in 1968), this picture captivated my attention completely, but, at that time I did not dare to ask Sensei for its meaning. I remember thinking: “It is better that I wait for a more prudent time before I ask these types of questions”. Well that I did and a year went by.
