It
has been just over two months since I inaugurated
the kenshinkanakamine.cl website, and I believe
that it is necessary to make a comment regarding
the intention that drove me to make this initiative
specifically. In fact, it could be said that
there were many reasons that in conjunction,
could become a new contribution for our school.
In short, these reasons speak of the history
of our school; of philosophical subjects;
of esoteric subjects; of technical subjects
and including an interesting photo gallery
that will be reviewing the history of the
Ken-Shin-Kan in Chile and abroad.
On
the other hand, the orientation of the site
will be directed to inform about the martial
arts and especially on Karate-do, since,
nowadays, these in its majority, have derived
towards the sport practices and the competition.
What has happened, in general, is the direction
of the lessons in the modern Dojos, which
have discarded the original rules that indicated
the importance of aspects such as: the Kihon
(the basic techniques that identify each
Karate style); the katas (the traditional
forms); bunkais (the application of the
katas) and, the techniques of Jiu-kumite
(where, one must try to apply the techniques
taught in katas). And on the contrary, the
sport lessons or to be more explicit, the
competitive ones have only been concerned
with teaching the most functional techniques
to mark points and doing so to the detriment
of technical principles. Also it is certain
that, most of the sites of Karate-do that
do exist in the network are focused towards
the sport diffusion, and if the kenshinkanakamine.cl
is added to the current existing sites –
impelled by the federations of each country
and the World-wide Federation of Karate-do,
I would not be constituting any new contribution
for the exponents of the arts of empty hand.
In
addition I have included a section that
promotes the books I have written, to be
able to sell them through the net to all
the martial artists interested in spiritual
development. Also I want to get to those
people, who although do not practice martial
arts, are interested in the path of self
discovery.
